A: It is hard to say what this bump might be without actuallly seeing it. Herpes infection causes small blisters (about 1/4 inch or less, often in clusters) which usually are painful; these can occur months after sexual contact, though they usually first appear within a week or two of exposure. Other possibilities would be a reaction to some local chemical that is irritating the vaginal tissue (like from a scented douche or vaginal hygiene spray), but that would usually also cause pain or discomfort. The best thing would be to have a doctor look at it and be sure it isn't herpes or something else important.
