A: In one word: NO. None of the STDs would cause a urine (or blood) pregnancy test to be negative if you are in fact pregnant. The currently used urine pregnancy tests, including the "at-home," do-it-yourself ones, usually will be positive by the time you should have normally had your period, but rarely can be negative (if your urine is very diluted, or your just not yet making much of the "pregnancy" hormone [HCG]) for 5-10 days after your period should have come. If you really think you are pregnant and are late for your period despite a negative test, do a repeat one in 5-7 days or go to your doctor or a family planning clinic for another terst.
